MPB9 World Education Service (WES) Trends in International Public Health Applications and Enrollment

Monday, March 23, 2015: 4:30 PM-5:30 PM
Potomac 2 (Hyatt Regency Crystal City)
Summary: Despite an overall rise in international students in public health, growth lags behind domestic enrollment and has been uneven across ASPPH institutions. This interactive presentation is designed for senior officers, deans, and staff interested in adopting or improving a research-based approach to strategic international enrollment management. WES and an expert panel of administrators will provide SOPHAS applicant data and good recruiting practices to help campuses develop intentional enrollment strategies rooted in a deeper understanding of mobility trends and student segmentation. WES will also present exclusive insights into the profiles of international applicants: their motivation for studying in the U.S. and their information-seeking journey.
