This workshop examines various methodologies of using positive psychology as public health administers, leaders, coaches, and/or a supervisors. “Positive psychology is the study of how human beings prosper in the face of adversity” (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi). Drawing from research on Happiness, Flow, Appreciative Inquiry, Strengths, Emotional Intelligence, and Servant Leadership, this program presents ways to apply positive psychology in areas of strategic planning, leadership development and coaching.
