CPH Digital Badging

The National Board of Public Health Examiners which credentials public health professionals recently launched a digital badging program.  The program was developed by a focus group of CPH and the NBPHE Maintenance of Certification Committee. The digital badging program will created incentivize certified public health professionals to seek new and diverse opportunities to pursue continuing education and professional development.   CPH are awarded a variety of badges related to the recertification activities and the badges are displayed on the CPH recertification portal.  The NBPHE is evaluating CPH response to the badging program as well as whether the program increases the number of variety of activities which are reported.
