MPB04 Framing the DrPH Degree for the 21st Century

Description: As industry, government, non-profit, and other leaders drive new approaches to enhancing health, CEPH-accredited schools and programs are looking to shape the future of the Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree for the next five-year accreditation cycle and beyond.  This session will present fresh thinking around the degree and inspire participants’ vision for DrPH degree holders as leaders in evidence-based public health practice and practice-based research who are capable of creating, transforming, and leading public health systems and who demonstrate transdisciplinary skills that benefit academe and practice across a wide variety of sectors and settings.  The discussion/question and answer period will enable participants to engage with the speakers on their unique experiences and approaches to framing the degree.
